Clicks but no flame
The spark is there but gas isn’t reaching the burner: jets, valve or supply.
Flame goes out
When the flame dies after you let go of the knob, the thermocouple usually needs replacing.
Smell of gas
Turn off the cylinder and open the windows. We trace and seal the leak and pressure-test the lines.
Electric plate not heating
Burnt-out hot plates, a faulty energy regulator or loose wiring behind the panel.
Oven side not working
Elements, thermostats and igniters on the cooker’s oven are covered too.
If you smell gas, turn off the cylinder, open the windows and don’t switch lights on or off. Then call us.

Why does my gas cooker click but not light?
The igniter is sparking but gas isn’t reaching it, usually because the burner jets are blocked. If cleaning doesn’t help, the valve or supply needs checking.
Why does the flame go out when I release the knob?
That points to the thermocouple, the safety device that keeps the gas on while there is a flame. It is a quick part to replace.
Do you install new cookers?
Yes. We fit freestanding and built-in cookers, connect the gas properly and test every joint for leaks.
Can you convert a cooker between gas types?
Often, by changing the nozzles. Tell us the model and we will confirm.
