Clicking, not cooling
The compressor start relay or overload protector.
Not cooling
Low gas from a leak, dusty condenser coils, a failed fan, thermostat or start relay.
Direct Motion washer error
Door lock, drain and motor faults show as codes on the panel. We diagnose from the code.
Not draining
Water left in the drum, or a code like 5C, OE or E18. Usually a blocked filter, hose or a worn drain pump.
Not spinning
Clothes come out soaking. Unbalanced loads, a drain fault, a worn belt or motor brushes.
Outdoor unit not running
A capacitor, contactor or gas pressure fault.
Not cooling
Dirty filters, low gas from a leak, or a failed capacitor or fan.
Leaking water
A blocked drain line or tray on the indoor unit.
No picture
Backlight or board faults on Haier LED TVs.
Sound but no picture
Almost always the backlight. Shine a torch at the screen: if you can faintly see the picture, that’s it.
No power
A failed power board or standby circuit.
Runs but doesn’t heat
A failed magnetron, high-voltage diode or capacitor.
Sparking
A burnt waveguide cover or damaged cavity paint. Stop using it until it’s fixed.
Turntable not turning
A worn turntable motor or coupler.
If a Haier AC blows air but not cold, check that the outdoor unit is running. If its fan is still, the capacitor is the most likely cause.
