Chest freezer frosting badly
A worn door gasket letting warm air in, or a thermostat that never switches off.
Not cooling
Low gas from a leak, dusty condenser coils, a failed fan, thermostat or start relay.
Stuck on the Hisense logo
A software or main board fault. We reload the firmware or replace the board.
Half the screen dark
Backlight strips or the T-con board. We test both before replacing anything.
Sound but no picture
Almost always the backlight. Shine a torch at the screen: if you can faintly see the picture, that’s it.
Top loader won’t spin
A lid switch, drive belt or clutch fault. These are common and quick to fix.
Not draining
Water left in the drum, or a code like 5C, OE or E18. Usually a blocked filter, hose or a worn drain pump.
Not spinning
Clothes come out soaking. Unbalanced loads, a drain fault, a worn belt or motor brushes.
Water dripping inside
A blocked drain pipe or tray on the indoor unit, usually cleared on the first visit.
Not cooling
Dirty filters, low gas from a leak, or a failed capacitor or fan.
Leaking water
A blocked drain line or tray on the indoor unit.
Runs but doesn’t heat
A failed magnetron, high-voltage diode or capacitor.
Sparking
A burnt waveguide cover or damaged cavity paint. Stop using it until it’s fixed.
Turntable not turning
A worn turntable motor or coupler.
If your Hisense fridge light is on but it isn’t cooling, listen at the back. A click every few minutes with no hum usually means the start relay, which is a quick repair.
