Where is the Solstar service centre in Nairobi?
HomeFixit is an independent Solstar service centre. Our workshop is on Waiyaki Way, and our technicians visit homes and offices across Nairobi and Kiambu, so most Solstar repairs happen where the appliance is. We are not the official Solstar service centre; for warranty claims, contact the seller or Solstar directly.
Do you offer Solstar home service?
Yes. For fridges & freezers, cookers & hobs and water dispensers our technician comes to you, Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 19:00. Same-day visits are often possible, subject to availability.
Can I bring my Solstar appliance to your workshop?
Yes. Televisions and microwaves can be dropped off at our workshop on Waiyaki Way. Call or WhatsApp first so we know to expect you.
What if my Solstar is still under warranty?
Contact the seller or Solstar first while the manufacturer’s warranty runs, because an outside repair can affect it. Once it is out of warranty, we diagnose for free and give you a clear price.
How much does a Solstar service cost?
The diagnosis is free. The technician finds the fault on your Solstar, tells you the full price for parts and labour, and nothing starts until you approve it.
