Plate not heating at all
A burnt-out solid plate or a broken wire behind it.
Burner won’t light
Blocked jets from spills, a wet or cracked igniter, or a faulty spark generator.
Oven not heating
The element or thermostat.
Not heating
A burnt-out element, thermostat or selector switch. On gas ovens, the igniter or valve.
Uneven baking
A failed fan motor or fan element, or a thermostat reading the wrong temperature.
Frost building up
A worn door seal or a defrost fault.
Not cooling
Low gas from a leak, dusty condenser coils, a failed fan, thermostat or start relay.
Gas refilling
We find and fix the leak first, then pull a vacuum and refill with the right gas for your fridge.
Won’t drain
A blocked filter or drain pump.
Not draining
Water left in the drum, or a code like 5C, OE or E18. Usually a blocked filter, hose or a worn drain pump.
Not spinning
Clothes come out soaking. Unbalanced loads, a drain fault, a worn belt or motor brushes.
Not draining
Water left in the bottom from a blocked filter, drain hose or pump.
Leaking
Worn door seals, a split sump or a loose hose. Many models stop with a flood code.
Dishes still dirty
Blocked spray arms, a clogged filter or a weak circulation pump.
No heat
A blown thermal fuse, failed heater or thermostat.
Drum not turning
A snapped drum belt or a worn motor or idler pulley.
Takes too long
Blocked lint filter, vent hose or condenser, or a weak heater.
