Loud on spin
Worn drum bearings or a loose counterweight. On older iQ machines the bearings are a common, worthwhile repair.
Not draining
Water left in the drum, or a code like 5C, OE or E18. Usually a blocked filter, hose or a worn drain pump.
E15, water in the base
The anti-flood switch has tripped. We find the leak (usually a seal, hose or the sump), fix it and dry the base out properly.
Dishes not drying
Low rinse aid, a failing heater or heat pump, or a door seal that no longer closes tight.
Not draining
Water left in the bottom from a blocked filter, drain hose or pump.
Oven cuts out mid-cook
A failed cooling fan lets the oven overheat and trip its thermal cut-out. We replace the fan and the cut-out if needed.
Not heating
A burnt-out element, thermostat or selector switch. On gas ovens, the igniter or valve.
Uneven baking
A failed fan motor or fan element, or a thermostat reading the wrong temperature.
Induction hob shows an F-code
A cooling fan, temperature sensor or power board fault. The code tells us which zone and which part to test.
Burner won’t light
Blocked jets from spills, a wet or cracked igniter, or a faulty spark generator.
Clicks but no flame
The spark is there but gas isn’t reaching the burner: jets, valve or supply.
Not cooling
Low gas from a leak, dusty condenser coils, a failed fan, thermostat or start relay.
Gas refilling
We find and fix the leak first, then pull a vacuum and refill with the right gas for your fridge.
Ice build-up
Frost on the back wall or around the fan points to a defrost heater, sensor or timer fault.
Dryer stops early, clothes damp
Blocked fluff filters or condenser, or a moisture sensor that needs cleaning or replacing.
No heat
A blown thermal fuse, failed heater or thermostat.
Drum not turning
A snapped drum belt or a worn motor or idler pulley.
