A blocked injector or a burner cap sitting off-centre.
Burner won’t light
Blocked jets from spills, a wet or cracked igniter, or a faulty spark generator.
Clicks but no flame
The spark is there but gas isn’t reaching the burner: jets, valve or supply.
Water left in the base
A blocked filter or a failed drain pump.
Not draining
Water left in the bottom from a blocked filter, drain hose or pump.
Leaking
Worn door seals, a split sump or a loose hose. Many models stop with a flood code.
No heat
A blown thermal fuse, failed heater or thermostat.
Drum not turning
A snapped drum belt or a worn motor or idler pulley.
Takes too long
Blocked lint filter, vent hose or condenser, or a weak heater.
Zanussi uses Electrolux error codes, so an E20 on a Zanussi means the same as on an Electrolux: water isn’t draining.
