Not heating
A burnt-out element, thermostat or selector switch. On gas ovens, the igniter or valve.
Uneven baking
A failed fan motor or fan element, or a thermostat reading the wrong temperature.
Weak suction
Greasy filters or a tired motor. Clean filters and a motor check usually bring it back.
Lights out
A failed bulb, LED driver or switch.
Noisy fan
Worn motor bearings or a loose fan and housing.
Commercial fridge not holding temperature
A dirty condenser, failed fan, controller or low gas.
Ice on the evaporator
A defrost fault or door seal letting warm air in.
Not cooling
Low gas from a leak, dusty condenser coils, a failed fan, thermostat or start relay.
For commercial Foster cabinets, keep the condenser clean. A blocked condenser is the most common reason they run warm.
