An Er FF code often clears after a full defrost (unplug for a day with the doors open and a towel down), but it comes back unless the defrost fault is fixed.

What does Er FF mean on my LG fridge?
The freezer fan is blocked by ice or has failed. Ice usually means a defrost fault behind it, which we fix so the code doesn’t return.
Do you repair LG linear compressors?
Yes. We test the compressor and inverter board, and replace the compressor with a genuine LG part if it has failed.
